C is for Candles (DIY)

Okay, we all know what candles are, and we all use them for our own reasons. They can be used only in emergencies or to add ambiance to a room or just sit there and look pretty. Only sometimes they don't look so pretty. Here are a few quick projects to make your candles beautiful. They're very inexpensive and would make wonderful gifts.

The candles above are actually flameless, battery operated candles covered with napkins. They are made using ModPodge, Vera Bradley napkins (of course, any napkins will work), and a foam or paint brush. The tutorial can be found here at Crafting Rebellion.

These candles are made using mason jars and would make lovely gifts. The colors are so pretty. The tutorial can be found here at Something Turquoise.

And finally, these beautiful candles are made by painting any jar with a mixture of 1/2 white glue and 1/2 water and rolling in Epsom Salts. Pop in a tea light and Voila!

Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow for "D". :)
